Job summary

Sellick Partnership has been engaged to recruit a Senior Management Accountant for a growing SME in Manchester. This hands-on role offers ownership of monthly management accounts, with a focus on accurate reporting and strategic insight.

You will join a high-performing finance team, supporting forecasting, budgeting and annual reporting while driving process improvements and liaising with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA).
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, XLOOKUP minimum).
• Strong analytical and numerical ability.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Experience within a professional services environment.
• Previous experience in a finance function within professional services.
• Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly management accounts with variance analysis and commentary.
• Prepare month-end reporting.
• Support finance group reporting packs (P&L, cashflow, balance sheet).
• Assist with quarterly forecasts, annual budgets and business planning.
• Support monthly business packs and external audit queries.
• Contribute to strategy and annual reporting.
• Develop standard procedures and drive process improvements.
• Assist with ad hoc project work and financial analysis.
