Senior Agency Account Manager (up to £43,000 plus commission of up to 66%)

About the role

The Publishing and Agency landscape is undergoing significant change, and it’s crucial we remain agile to serve our clients and maximize revenue. The ability to provide cross-portfolio and cross-media solutions is increasingly important, as is offering clients a single point of contact.

As a Senior Agency Account Manager, your core objective will be to develop and grow revenue from new, existing, and lapsed advertisers across the Immediate portfolio through effective management of an agency portfolio. The role involves selling digital (both programmatic and direct display), smaller budget partnerships, advertorials/native, and supporting print revenue by pitching print opportunities where appropriate.

You will be an ambassador for Immediate, leveraging your network of agencies to increase our agency footprint and create a compelling value proposition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Grow ad revenue by identifying and developing new commercial opportunities with advertisers
  • Build strategic relationships with agencies across all levels and departments, including strategic planning, media planning, and buying
  • Manage pitches for new business and existing clients
  • Collaborate with commercial teams to develop key advertiser strategies, including contact, insight, and opportunity planning throughout the year
  • Conduct a minimum of 4 external agency meetings per week

Audience and Product Sales:

  • Deepen understanding of our audience proposition and support the team in developing audience sales strategies
  • Use a consultative approach, leveraging audience data to position Immediate as a key partner early in the process, moving from activation to planning
  • At least 2 years of experience in consumer publishing and/or digital advertising
  • Ability to cross-sell multiple media channels and titles
  • Understanding of the agency and publisher landscape
  • Proven track record of driving revenue individually and as part of a team, working towards performance targets
  • Strong relationships with agency buying and planning teams
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills across all levels
