Job description

This a great new role as Senior Account Handler/Placement Broker working for one of the fasting growing broker networks operating within the UK today. You would be based with a mixture or either working from home where you can plug into their office based in Birmingham/West Midlands.

You will be naturally charismatic and personable, possessing a strong technical understanding of commercial insurance with the ability to build strong client relations both internally and externally.

You will act as a placement broker for commercial business receiving risks from circa 180 Network brokers.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Placement of all classes of commercial insurance into the market
  • Relationship building with all Network members
  • Relationship building with all insurers and suppliers
  • Delivering a world class placement service
  • Help exceed overall team budget
  • Promotion of broking desk to colleagues within the group

Qualifications

  • Progressions to ACII preferred but not essential

Experience

  • Knowledge of Acturis

Competence

  • Strong sales skills
  • Strong technical competence
  • The ability to find a solution
  • A desire to exceed all budgets
  • Able to work in a small team unsupervised
  • Able to meet deadlines with communication along the way to all parties
  • A desire to progress within the business
