Job summary
Armstrong Talent Partners client in Scotland seeks a 3rd Line IT specialist to take on escalated incidents and drive problem management. You will optimise compute, storage, and networking and contribute to migrations and upgrades.
You will bring strong troubleshooting in VMware/Hyper‑V, DNS/DHCP/VLANs, and SAN/NAS, with ITIL processes and 24/7 operational mindset. 33 days leave and life protection are among the benefits.
Qualifications
- 3rd Line or advanced support experience in a data centre or MSP environment.
- Strong troubleshooting across virtualisation, networking and storage.
- Experience in ITIL-aligned incident, problem and change management.
Responsibilities
- Own and resolve incidents that cannot be solved at lower tiers.
- Optimise core infrastructure across compute, storage and networking.
- Drive problem management to eliminate recurring faults.
- Contribute to infrastructure projects, migrations and upgrades.
