Job summary

BT Group in Derby is seeking a 3rd Line Network Support Specialist to provide lead technical support on complex network, security and cyber deployments, incidents and projects, liaising with customer representatives and vendors.

The role requires 1 in 4 callouts, SME for multiple technologies, and strong stakeholder management with potential security clearances (SC Eyes Only, DV in future). On-site with some home working in Derby.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering 3rd line technical support for complex network/security environments.
• Ability to lead incident resolution and converge with stakeholders to meet SLAs.
• Strong communication skills, liaising with customers, vendors and design teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-life 3rd line SME support for network and security deployments and incidents.
• Lead high-priority incident resolution within the agreed SLA and coordinate technical calls.
• Act as SME for specialised products/services and SPOC for design/customer contract teams.
• Perform root cause analysis and contribute to post-incident reviews.
• Support callouts on a 1 in 4 rota and communicate risks effectively.
