Job summary

ME+EM is seeking a senior IT specialist to provide advanced, third-line support and to own patching, vulnerability management, and security across Azure, on-premises, and hybrid environments. You will configure email security gateways, disaster recovery, and network infrastructure while collaborating with vendors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Requires IT-related degree or equivalent professional experience.
• CCNA or Azure Administrator AZ-104 certification essential.
• Experience in a third‑line, cloud, or network infrastructure role.
• Proven experience designing backup & disaster recovery strategies with defined RTOs/RPOs.
• Experience with backup/recovery tooling (e.g., Veeam, Azure Site Recovery).
• Hands-on patch and vulnerability lifecycle management experience.
• Experience configuring email security gateways (Mimecast/Proofpoint/Defender for Office 365).
• Strong VPN, firewall, and network monitoring knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide third-line technical support to resolve complex IT issues with minimal business disruption.
• Own end-to-end patch and vulnerability management lifecycle from scanning to remediation and reporting.
• Configure and administer enterprise email security platforms (Mimecast, Proofpoint, Defender for Office 365).
• Design and test backup and disaster recovery strategies with regular DR simulations.
• Maintain IT infrastructure including servers, storage, networking, and virtualization for high availability.
• Troubleshoot advanced problems using Azure, Google Cloud, and Hyper‑V.
• Lead IT projects from planning to deployment and post-implementation support.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for compliance and knowledge sharing.
• Mentor and train junior engineers; stay updated on emerging technologies.
