GK Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer to join their IT team in Chorley. This hands-on role supports and maintains the company’s IT infrastructure while acting as escalation point for complex issues.

You will deliver infrastructure projects and help improve Microsoft technologies across the business, including Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure and AD. The right candidate thrives in a busy environment.

• Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Strong networking knowledge and troubleshooting abilities (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP).

3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer

Chorley | Up to £45,000 + Benefits

We're looking for an experienced 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing internal IT team in Chorley. This is a hands-on role supporting and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure while acting as the technical escalation point for complex issues. You'll also play a key role in delivering infrastructure projects and helping to improve Microsoft technologies across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 3rd Line support across servers, networks and Microsoft technologies
• Support Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure and Active Directory
• Administer VMware/Hyper-V environments
• Support networking, backups and disaster recovery
• Deliver infrastructure upgrades and technology projects
• Maintain technical documentation and identify service improvements

You'll have experience with:
