Job summary

Focus Group in Birmingham is seeking a 3rd Line Support Engineer to own complex Microsoft 365 and Azure incidents from start to finish, serving as the go-to expert for the service desk.

You will mentor 2nd Line engineers, design changes across the Microsoft 365 and Azure estate, and collaborate with Microsoft support to resolve high-impact issues while aligning with Change Management.

Qualifications

• Proven Azure infrastructure administration in production.
• Expertise across Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams and Intune.
• Strong Entra ID, hybrid identity and Conditional Access knowledge.
• PowerShell scripting to automate 365/Azure tasks.
• Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or equivalent.
• Clear engineer-to-engineer communication.
• Analytical, inquisitive approach to problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Manage 3rd line Azure/M365 incidents end-to-end.
• Escalate and resolve complex cases with 2nd Line.
• Mentor 2nd Line engineers and share learnings.
• Design changes across Azure and 365 estate per Change Mgmt.
• Collaborate with Microsoft support when vendor involvement needed.
• Support BAU handovers for tenant migrations and deployments.
