Experience

Essential

• 6+ years experience as a 3D Animator with at least 2 shipped games.
• Proven portfolio or showreel demonstrating 3D animation skills.
• Experience with Autodesk Maya.
• Experience implementing animations in a game engine, preferably Unity.

Desirable

• Character Rigging experience.
• Experience with art and team pipelines.
• Storytelling skills beyond gameplay, such as cutscenes or short films.
• Experience with 2D animation.
• Experience in 3D modelling and texturing.

• Able to create game-ready, beautiful animations to deadline and quality standards.
• Range of animation styles from realism to stylized.
• Highly motivated, productive, and a self-starter.
• Creative problem-solving skills with gameplay and player focus.
• Excellent file organization.

Duties and Tasks

• Build assets according to Unity specifications and pipelines.
• Create content suitable for target platforms.
• Meet or exceed project deliverables on time.
• Lead by example in process, output, and professionalism.
• Mentor and support animation team members.
• Communicate with clients to understand task requirements.
• Present animations for internal feedback.
• Coordinate with other departments for successful project delivery.
• Foster feedback, iteration, and communication within the Animation department.
• Advise on best practices for animation in pre-production.
• Lead team meetings and stand-ups for project updates.
• Organize and execute art tasks using Jira, collaborating with the Lead, Art Manager, and Studio Producer to meet deadlines.
