Job summary

Adria Solutions Ltd is seeking a capable 2nd Line IT Support Engineer in Manchester to own complex technical issues and support a 500-employee branch network. The role focuses on Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, VDI, and network infrastructure within a regulated environment.

You'll work as the primary escalation point, collaborate with a 2nd Line Technician, and contribute to IT transformation projects while maintaining strong customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration and Exchange Online.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, and VDI environments.
• Experience with Palo Alto and Juniper networking technologies.
• Experience with backup technologies (Veeam) and device management tools.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and change management.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical escalation point for 1st Line IT Support.
• Diagnose and resolve complex 2nd Line infrastructure and end-user issues.
• Support and administer Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online.
• Provide VMware VDI support across a branch estate.
• Support and manage network infrastructure, including firewalls and switches.
• Work with Privately managed security and network technologies.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and participate in change-control processes.
