Job summary

T-Tech is hiring an IT Field Engineer to join our Birmingham team and support a key client. You will be the go-to 2nd line specialist, owning incidents, diagnosing complex IT issues, and delivering timely resolutions.

The role focuses on networks, servers, software and peripherals, with strong client interaction. Based in Birmingham, you will work closely with the client's IT team, maintain thorough documentation, and contribute to continual service improvements.

Qualifications

2nd line support experience in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in IT systems, hardware, software, networks and servers.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities under pressure.
Excellent communication with clients and team members.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
ITIL, CompTIA or Microsoft certifications are desirable.

Responsibilities

Provide 2nd line support and own technical incidents from initial triage to resolution.
Troubleshoot complex IT issues across networks, servers, applications and peripherals.
Build strong relationships with the client's IT team and stakeholders.
Document incidents, fixes and best practices; generate regular trend reports.
