Job summary

T-Tech is seeking an IT Field Engineer to join our Belfast team and support a key client with 2nd line IT services. You will own complex incidents, diagnose root causes, and collaborate with the client’s IT team to restore service efficiently.

This role offers exposure to the latest technologies within a dynamic consultancy, with strong progression paths and a focus on proactive service delivery across networks, servers and applications.

Qualifications

• 2nd line support experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient knowledge of IT systems, hardware, software, networks and servers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with clients and team members.
• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
• ITIL, CompTIA or Microsoft certifications are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd line support and take ownership of escalated client issues.
• Troubleshoot networks, servers, applications and peripherals.
• Build relationships with the client's IT team for seamless incident resolution.
• Document incidents, solutions and best practices; produce regular reports.
• Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and IT processes.
