Job summary

T-Tech is seeking an IT Field Engineer to join our Birmingham-based team, delivering 2nd line support for a key client. You will troubleshoot issues, resolve outages, and ensure service quality.

Work across networks, servers, and applications, document incidents, and contribute to continuous improvement while staying up-to-date with the latest technologies. This role offers growth in a dynamic IT consultancy.

Qualifications

• 2nd line support experience is essential.
• Strong knowledge of IT systems, hardware, software, networks and servers.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities under pressure.
• Clear communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd line IT support for a key client, owning issues and delivering timely fixes.
• Troubleshoot complex problems escalated from 1st line and restore services.
• Build strong relationships with client IT teams and stakeholders.
• Document incidents, solutions, and best practices for reporting and improvement.
• Stay updated with technology trends and identify improvements to IT environment.
