Job summary

Barton St Peter's CofE Primary School in Barton-upon-Humber seeks an experienced SENDCO to lead SEND provision, ensuring high standards of inclusion and compliance with statutory requirements.

You will work with families, teachers, support staff and external professionals to identify needs, plan interventions, manage EHCPs and annual reviews, and develop staff through coaching within the Senior Leadership Team.

Qualifications

• Holds QTS and is an excellent classroom practitioner.
• Has experience leading SEND provision in a primary setting with diverse needs.
• Excellent knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and current legislation.
• Strong communication with families and professionals; strategic, organised, and inclusive.

Responsibilities

• Support safeguarding as one of the school’s DDSLs.
