Job summary

Sandy Lane Primary School seeks an experienced SENDCo to lead inclusive provision and ensure high‑quality support for pupils with SEND. The role involves coordinating interventions, working with families and external agencies, and driving statutory responsibilities across the school.

The successful candidate will promote inclusion via strategic leadership, monitor progress with data, and collaborate with staff to remove barriers to learning so every child can participate and thrive.

Qualifications

• Experience leading SEND provision within a school setting.
• Evidence of strategic leadership and driving inclusion.
• Strong ability to monitor progress through data analysis and impact evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Lead SEND provision as a central, school-wide priority integrated with SIP/SEF.
• Coordinate multi‑agency referrals, EHCP assessments and case reviews.
• Oversee provision for pupils with SEND and support staff and families.
