Teaching Vacancies is seeking an ambitious SENDCO to lead our Learning Plus department, supporting our Leader of Inclusion and Strategic SENDCO to advance the SEND strategy and ensure high quality provision for students with additional needs.

The successful candidate will build strong relationships with staff, students and parents, demonstrate effective leadership and communication, and drive creative interventions and professional development within a supportive school community in the United

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership experience, preferably in SEND.
• Strong understanding of SEND legislation, policy and practice.
• Ability to lead a team collaboratively with solid leadership and management skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships with staff, students and parents/carers.
• Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
• High aspirations for students and personal development.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Learning Plus department and support the Leader of Inclusion.
• Drive SEND strategy, implement interventions and ensure high quality provision.
• Provide clear communication and professional development opportunities.
• Collaborate with staff to deliver inclusive education across the school.
• Safeguarding and regulatory compliance as part of the role.
