Job summary

St Botolph’s Church of England Primary School in Lincolnshire is seeking an enthusiastic SENDCO to lead our SEND provision and drive inclusion, ensuring every child receives tailored support to flourish academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually.

The successful candidate will lead SEND across the school, coordinate EHCPs, and collaborate with families, governors and external agencies to secure the best outcomes for pupils.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with a successful track record of improving outcomes for pupils.
• Willing to undertake NASENCO qualification.
• Thorough understanding of SEND Code of Practice and current SEND legislation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and strategically develop SEND provision across the school.
• Identify and support pupils with SEND with tailored interventions.
• Champion inclusive practice and work with families, staff and external partners.
• Coordinate EHCPs and SEND support arrangements and monitor progress.
