Job summary

TeacherActive Limited is recruiting an experienced SENDCO for a London mainstream or specialist SEND school. The role requires QTS, leadership skills and a strong focus on EHCP coordination and inclusive education. Immediate start and commitment to high-quality, personalised SEND support are essential.

The successful candidate will work with senior leaders, teachers, families and external professionals to deliver effective SEND strategies and maintain compliance with statutory responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Experience as SENDCO or in a SEND leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and safeguarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate SEND provision across the school.
• Oversee development, implementation and review of EHCPs.
• Support pupils with diverse SEND needs and collaborate with staff and external agencies.
• Identify pupils needing support and coordinate interventions.
