Job summary

Days Lane Primary School is seeking a dedicated SENDCO to lead and develop inclusive practice across our school. You will work closely with staff, parents and external agencies to ensure high-quality SEND provision and thriving outcomes for all pupils.

As SENDCO you will formulate, implement and review SEN Support Plans, engage with the SEND Code of Practice, and support staff to deliver inclusive education. Informal discussions are welcome via recruitment contact.

Qualifications

• Hold QTS and the National Award for SEN Coordination or actively working towards it.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND across primary age groups.
• Strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and inclusive teaching.
• Ability to formulate, implement and review SEN Support Plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop inclusive practice to support all pupils with additional needs.
• Collaborate with staff, parents and external agencies to secure best outcomes.
• Write strong applications for additional support to Local Authority and agencies.
• Support staff to deliver high quality SEND provision.
