Job summary

Parkway is seeking a SENDCo to join our school. We are looking for an exemplary practitioner with a remit to ensure that children with SEND are taught effectively throughout the school, an excellent communicator, and a team leader who can raise the standards of attainment and achievement across the school.

NPQ for SENDCo’s qualification is desirable. Candidates who do not yet hold this qualification will be supported to undertake and achieve it following appointment.

Qualifications

• Exemplary practitioner with remit to ensure SEND pupils are taught effectively across the school.
• Excellent communicator and a capable team leader who can raise standards of attainment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate SEND provision across the school to improve pupil outcomes.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop inclusive teaching strategies and monitor progress for SEND students.
