Job summary

Trumpington Park Primary School invites a proactive SENDCo to lead the Inclusion team from January 2027. The role engages working with staff and external agencies to ensure SEND pupils receive high-quality teaching and learning. The post may include some class teaching.

The ideal candidate will hold NPQ SENDCo or NASENDCO, with experience across primary SEND provision, strong safeguarding knowledge and excellent communication within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• NPQ SENDCo or NASENDCO qualification.
• Experience of SEND teaching across the primary age range.
• Proven track record of improving and growing SEND provision within a primary school.
• Knowledge of SEND provision, legislation and inclusive teaching practices.
• Outstanding communication skills and a dedicated team player.
• Thorough understanding of child protection and safeguarding issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Assistant SENDCo/Inclusion team and work with staff and external agencies to ensure high-quality SEND provision.
• Shape and innovate SEND practices to improve measurable outcomes.
• Provide staff training and professional development across the trust.
