Academics is recruiting on behalf of The Victory Primary School for a SENCo to lead and manage support for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The successful candidate will have no regular teaching duties, will drive inclusive practices, and secure high-quality provision for SEND learners within a strong team of support staff.
Salary will be determined by qualifications and experience, with relocation expenses available where required.
The Victory Primary School has asked Academics help recuit someone who is committed to education and has acquired the relevant qualifications, to join their team and lead and manage support for their pupils with Special Educational Needs and disabilities (SEND). The right candidate will be a key member of the team with no regular teaching responsibilities. They will oversee inclusive practices across the school, and be highly effective in managing quality provision for children with SEND, raising standards and enabling all pupils to achieve their very best.
Alongside a strong team of Learning Support Assistants and pastoral staff, the SENCo will work to secure high quality teaching, effective use of resources and improved standards of learning and achievement for all pupils but particularly for those on the SEND register.
