Job summary

FIND | Creating Futures is seeking an experienced SENDCo to join a specialist secondary school and make a real difference to young people's lives. You will lead the school's SEND provision, oversee EHCP reviews and LAC/PEPs, coordinate interventions, support and develop staff, and work closely with families and external agencies.

Strong SEND leadership and knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice are essential for quality assurance and strategic improvement.

Qualifications

Our client is looking for an experienced SENDCo to join their specialist secondary school and make a real difference to young people's lives.

The school supports pupils with EHCPs, including SEMH, SEND, ASD and ADHD. Many pupils have experienced difficulties in mainstream education, making this a fantastic opportunity for a SEND professional who is passionate about inclusion and improving outcomes.

You'll lead the school's SEND provision, oversee EHCP reviews and LAC/PEPs, coordinate interventions, support and develop staff, and work closely with families and external agencies. You'll also play a key role in quality assurance and the strategic development of SEND provision.

We're looking for:

• Accredited SENDCo qualification
• QTS or QTLS
• Strong SEND leadership experience
• Excellent knowledge of EHCPs and the SEND Code of Practice
• Experience leading staff and SEND provision
• A genuine passion for supporting young people with complex needs
