Job summary

Academics is helping Victory Primary School recruit a dedicated SENCo to lead and manage support for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. The role involves no regular teaching and requires driving inclusive practices across the school to raise standards and enable every pupil to reach their best.

Working alongside a strong team of Learning Support Assistants and pastoral staff, the SENCo will secure high-quality teaching and effective use of resources.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications in education or SEND.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage support for pupils with SEND.
• Oversee inclusive practices across the school.
• Manage quality provision for children with SEND, raising standards and enabling all pupils to achieve their best.
• Work with Learning Support Assistants and pastoral staff to secure high quality teaching and improved learning outcomes.
