Job summary

Kids Planet Morrill is seeking a SENDCO Lead to join our team, to support children with SEND and collaborate with families and external agencies to design tailored support plans. You will lead in creating inclusive, nurturing learning environments where every child can thrive.

You will oversee safeguarding, EYFS readiness, and Ofsted expectations with a Level 3 UK early years qualification and senior experience. We offer KP Academy training, enhanced leave, and a supportive central team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least Level 3 qualified in a UK recognised early years qualification and experience of working at a senior level.
• Have a detailed understanding of the requirements set by Ofsted.
• Excellent understanding of EYFS.
• Extensive knowledge of safeguarding children.
• Experience of working with children with SEND requirements, and with parents and outside agencies.
• Ability to lead staff meetings and demonstrate multi-agency working.

What a SENDCO needs:

• Must be at least Level 3 qualified in a UK recognised early years qualification and experience of working at a senior level.
