Job summary

Kids Planet Frodsham is seeking a SENDCO Lead to join our caring, Ofsted Outstanding nursery. You’ll lead SEND provision, develop tailored plans with families and partners, and support staff to help every child thrive.

You must hold at least Level 3 in a UK early years qualification, have senior level experience, and a solid grasp of EYFS and safeguarding. We offer generous benefits, training through KP Academy, and a strong, supportive team culture.

How you'll make a difference as a SENDCO:

By taking the lead in assisting children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) to engage fully in learning and reach their potential.

Through leading collaboration with families, staff, and external agencies to design and implement tailored support plans that meet each child's needs.

What a SENDCO Needs

• Must be at least Level 3 qualified in a UK recognised early years qualification and experience of working at a senior level.
• Have a detailed understanding of the requirements set by Ofsted.
• Excellent understanding of EYFS.
• Extensive knowledge of safeguarding children.
• Experience Of Working With Children With SEND Requirements.
• Experience of working in partnership with parents and outside agencies.
• Ability to demonstrate multi agency working and experience of leading staff meetings.
