Job summary

OneSchool Global is seeking an exceptional SENDCo for the Ashbrook Campus on a full-time, permanent basis. The post holder will provide strategic leadership for SEND, ensuring high-quality support, intervention and inclusive practice across the campus.

The successful candidate will have QTS and NASENCO/NPQSENCO with at least three years of teaching experience, plus strong track records in leading TA teams, developing bespoke strategies, and implementing personalised learning plans for students

Qualifications

• QTS and NASENCO/NPQSENCO with a minimum of three years' teaching experience.
• Experience supporting students with autism, ADHD, social communication needs, dyslexia, and other learning difficulties.
• Experience leading and line-managing teaching assistants and coaching colleagues.
• Proven ability to develop bespoke support strategies and personalised learning pathways for students working below age-related expectations.
• Strong knowledge of Access Arrangements, assessment processes, and collaboration with external agencies.
• Ability to lead strategically and drive an ambitious SEND vision across the campus.

Responsibilities

• Lead SEND provision across the campus and ensure high standards of support and inclusion.
• Develop and implement targeted interventions to improve student outcomes.
• Coach and develop teaching staff to strengthen SEND practice.
• Work with external agencies to support students’ access arrangements and personalised learning plans.

Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional SENDCo to join our Ashbrook Campus on a full-time, permanent basis.

This role is ideal for a forward-thinking, highly motivated and inspirational practitioner who is passionate about ensuring every student can thrive, achieve the potential, and access an outstanding educational experience. As SENDCo, you will provide strategic leadership for SEND provision across the campus, ensuring the highest standards of support, intervention and inclusion in line with OneSchool Global's Student Support Policy.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience supporting students with a broad range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, social communication differences, physical disabilities, dyslexia, and other specific learning difficulties. You will be confident in developing bespoke support strategies and personalised learning pathways for students working significantly below age-related expectations, helping them to achieve meaningful progress and success.

Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will preferably:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess the NASENCO or NPQSENCO qualification, with a minimum of three years' teaching experience.
• Have substantial experience working with students with autism, ADHD, social communication needs, physical disabilities, dyslexia, and a wide range of learning difficulties.
• Demonstrate experience supporting students across multiple Key Stages, including those requiring highly personalised or significantly adapted curricula.
• Have a proven track record of leading, developing and line-managing teaching assistants, promoting high standards of practice and professional development.
• Be an excellent classroom practitioner who models inclusive, high-quality teaching and learning.
• Have experience observing lessons and providing constructive coaching and guidance to colleagues to strengthen classroom practice and SEND provision.
• Be skilled in planning, implementing and evaluating targeted interventions that improve student outcomes.
• Possess strong knowledge of Access Arrangements, including assessment processes, evidence gathering and collaboration with external agencies and professionals.
• Be able to lead strategically, shaping and driving an ambitious vision for SEND provision across the campus.
• Demonstrate a commitment to raising achievement for students with SEND through high expectations, effective systems and a student-centred approach.
