Job summary

OneSchool Global is seeking an exceptional SENDCo to join the Colchester Campus on a full-time, permanent basis. The role provides strategic leadership for SEND provision across the campus, ensuring high standards of support, intervention and inclusion in line with the school's policies.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience supporting students with autism, ADHD, dyslexia and other learning needs, with a track record of leading staff, developing personalised learning pathways

Qualifications

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess the NASENCO or NPQSENCO qualification, with a minimum of three years' teaching experience.
• Experience supporting students with autism, ADHD, social communication needs, dyslexia and other learning difficulties.
• Experience across multiple Key Stages with highly personalised or significantly adapted curricula.
• Proven track record of leading, developing and line-managing teaching assistants and promoting high standards of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for SEND provision across the campus.
• Develop bespoke support strategies and personalised learning pathways for students.
• Lead and line-manage teaching assistants and coach colleagues to strengthen SEND provision.
• Collaborate with external agencies on access arrangements and safeguarding processes.
• Observe lessons to guide class practice and monitor impact of interventions.
