Lancashire County Council’s Shuttleworth College invites applications for an HLTA – Year Group Lead (SEND) to drive high-quality SEND support across a year group at Shuttleworth College. The role includes leadership of Teaching Assistants, coordinating interventions and liaising with families and external agencies to secure strong student outcomes.

The post requires experience with children, strong communication, and a commitment to inclusion.

Formación

• Recognised and relevant NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
• Degree qualification or working toward.
• Level 2 or equivalent qualification in English/Literacy and Mathematics/Numeracy.
• HLTA status is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and coordinate SEND provision across a year group.
• Manage and support a team of Teaching Assistants.
• Coordinate interventions, assessments and referrals.
• Work closely with students, families, staff and external agencies.
• Support EHCP processes, reviews and transition arrangements.
