Job summary

Targeted Provision is seeking Core Subject SEND Tutors and Teachers in the UK to transform the lives of Young People with SEND and SEMH needs. Roles include in-person, hybrid, and remote tutoring across Maths, English, or Science, with flexible hours and part-time to full-time opportunities.

You will work with disengaged and vulnerable learners, using trauma-informed approaches, and have access to CPD, mentoring, and a supportive SEND Team within a child-centred organisation.

Responsibilities

• Provide in person, online / remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to children, teenagers, and young people with SEMH and SEND needs, including MLD, SLD, PMLD, and other Additional Educational Needs
• Support pupils and students, ranging from KS1 - KS5 (as appropriate for your skills), referred by local authorities and schools by planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
• Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress
• We are on a mission to raise the standard of education provided to young people with SEND (Special Education Needs and Disabilities), as well as other needs such as SEMH needs (Social, Emotional and Mental Health). We are increasingly supporting children and young people with MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties), SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties), and PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties).
