Job summary

Targeted Provision in the United Kingdom is seeking qualified SEND Tutors and Teachers to work with schools and local authorities on core subjects (Maths, English, or Science) for SEMH and SEND needs. Roles are in person, online, or hybrid, with flexible hours and a trauma-informed approach.

You will join a child-centred organisation that supports disengaged and vulnerable learners, offering DBS facilitation and references, and opportunities to impact lives while working from home or within

Qualifications

2+ years teaching experience with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/ PMLD
Experience teaching English, Maths and/or Science
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)
Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references
UK-based right to work (remote/online allowed)
Good safeguarding practices and safe learning environment

Responsibilities

Provide in-person, online/remote and hybrid Maths, English or Science tuition to children and young people with SEMH and SEND needs
Support pupils KS1–KS5 with trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
Plan and report lessons; provide regular progress feedback
Contribute to raising standards for SEND learners in our community
