Job summary

Targeted Provision seeks Core Subject SEND Tutors and Teachers (Maths, English, or Science) to transform the lives of young people with SEND and SEMH needs in your community. Roles include in-person, hybrid, and remote teaching with flexible hours and opportunities for ongoing CPD.

Applicants should have 2+ years of teaching experience, QTS/QTLS, Enhanced DBS, and be based in the UK with right to work. This self-employed role supports vulnerable learners and offers a meaningful, flexible career

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed way.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) is required.
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references are requested.
• Based in the UK with the right to work in the UK, including remote/online roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide in person, online / remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to children, teenagers, and young people with SEMH and SEND needs.
• Support pupils referred by local authorities and schools by planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress.
