Job summary

Targeted Provision in the United Kingdom is seeking SEND Tutors and Teachers to support disengaged and vulnerable learners with SEMH and SEND needs. Roles include Maths, English or Science tutoring, offered in-person, hybrid or online, with flexible hours and a self-employed structure.

You will work with local authorities and schools to plan lessons, track progress, and provide trauma-informed mentoring while maintaining safeguarding standards and aiming to raise educational outcomes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/PMLD
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) required
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references
• UK-based with right to work (remote allowed)

Responsibilities

• Provide Maths, English, or Science tuition in person, online, or hybrid
• Plan and report lessons and give feedback on student progress
• Support KS1–KS5 learners with trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
• Uphold safeguarding standards and create a safe learning environment
