Job summary

TARGETED PROVISION LTD in the United Kingdom is seeking SEND tutors and teachers to deliver Maths, English or Science tutoring for learners with SEMH and SEND needs. Roles are flexible, in-person, hybrid, or remote, with part-time to full-time schedules and a mission-driven approach to support disengaged and vulnerable learners.

Qualified teachers with QTS/QTLS, an enhanced DBS, and 2+ references are preferred. Applicants must be based in the UK and committed to safeguarding best practices.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH
• Subjects: English, Maths, and/or Science
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)
• Enhanced DBS check and 2+ professional references
• UK based with right to work in the UK
• Safeguarding knowledge and creating a safe learning environment

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to children and young people with SEND/SEMH needs
• Support pupils from KS1 to KS5 as appropriate, through trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
• Plan and report on lessons and provide feedback on student progress
• Contribute to raising education standards for young people with SEND and SEMH needs
