Job summary

Targeted Provision is seeking SEND Tutors and Teachers to support learners with SEND and SEMH across the UK. Roles offer in-person, hybrid, and remote teaching opportunities to suit your schedule.

A passion for transforming the lives of disengaged, at‑risk, and vulnerable learners is essential, with safeguarding and DBS checks facilitated if required. The position is self-employed with flexible hours and ongoing opportunities as applications are received.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience with SEND, SEMH, or other special needs
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS)
• Enhanced DBS and multiple references are preferred
• UK-based role with right to work, including remote/online opportunities

Responsibilities

• Provide in person, online, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition for SEND/SEMH learners
• Plan and deliver flexible, trauma‑informed tutoring and mentoring for pupils aged KS1–KS5
• Prepare and report on lessons and give regular feedback on student progress
• Support learners from diverse backgrounds and contribute to safeguarding practices
