Job summary

Targeted Provision is recruiting SEND tutors and teachers to transform outcomes for vulnerable learners across the UK. Roles include Maths, English or Science tutoring, with flexible in-person, hybrid, or remote work and part-time to full-time hours.

We value trauma-informed practice, safeguarding, and a passion for supporting SEMH and SEND students. The positions are self-employed and based in the UK, with ongoing applications and timely interview scheduling.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed way.
• QTS or QTLS qualification required to teach in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS check and 2+ professional references.
• UK-based with the right to work in the UK, even for remote/online roles.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide Maths, English, or Science tuition in person, online or hybrid to children, teenagers and young people with SEMH and SEND needs.
• Support pupils referred by local authorities and schools by planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress.
• Contribute to raising the standard of education for SEND and SEMH learners.
