TeacherActive Ltd is seeking SEND Teaching Assistants in Redditch to support pupils with additional needs, helping them engage with their education and build confidence. The role focuses on 1:1 and small-group support within a school setting, promoting inclusion, positive behaviour and independent learning.

Role is long-term/temporary with start dates after October half-term or in January, on-site in Redditch (B98 0LJ).

Formación

The school is looking for committed and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistants who can provide tailored support to pupils with additional needs, helping them engage with their education and develop confidence and independence.

The school places a strong emphasis on inclusion, positive relationships and ensuring every pupil has the opportunity to succeed. The successful SEND Teaching Assistants will work closely with teaching staff to support pupils within the classroom, deliver individual and small-group support, and encourage positive behaviour and engagement throughout the school day.

The school is looking to appoint SEND Teaching Assistants on a long-term basis, with start dates available after the October half-term or in January, depending on availability and interest.

Key Requirements

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND within an educational setting.
• Experience supporting pupils with additional learning, communication, social, emotional or behavioural needs.
• The ability to provide effective 1:1 and small-group support.
• A good understanding of how to encourage positive behaviour, engagement and independence.
