Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd is seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Ruislip this September. The role offers immediate interviews and a trial day on 1st September.

You will support pupils with autism, ADHD, SEMH and other learning needs on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, closely with the class teacher and SENCO to foster independence and confidence in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting children with SEND in a school, nursery or care setting.
• Experience supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH or complex needs.
• A calm, patient and resilient approach.
• Strong behaviour management skills.
• Someone who is proactive, reliable and passionate about helping children succeed.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH and additional learning needs on 1:1 and in small groups.
• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to help pupils develop confidence, regulate emotions, build independence and access learning in a supportive environment.
• This is a full-time, long-term role with the potential to become permanent.
