Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd is recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant for a September start at a South Ruislip primary school. The role offers a long-term, full-time contract with daily hours from 8:15am to 3:15pm and a daily pay rate of £95–£105. You will work with pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH and non-verbal needs, supporting learning and engagement.

Experience in SEND, a calm and patient manner, and strong teamwork are essential. DBS checks and safeguarding training are required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with SEND.
• Confidence supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH or non-verbal needs.
• Calm, patient and resilient approach.
• Strong behaviour management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEND on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
• Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to provide tailored support.
• Help pupils engage positively with learning and foster independence.
