Class Act Teaching Services is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant for a primary school SEND Resource Base starting January 2027. The role involves supporting pupils with communication needs in a dedicated base, working with the SEN Teacher, SEND team and SENCo to help every child access learning.

The ideal candidate will have experience with SEND or a patient, adaptable approach, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset.

Formación

• Experience working with children with SEND is desirable.
• Patient, nurturing and adaptable approach.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Passion for supporting children to achieve their full potential.

Responsabilidades

• Support a small group of pupils with communication and interaction needs.
• Work closely with SEN Teacher, SEND team and SENCo.
• Help pupils access learning and develop confidence.
• Provide tailored support to pupils with high levels of need.
• Contribute to inclusive learning in the SEND Resource Base.
• Assist with planning and delivery of targeted activities.
