Job summary

The Misbourne Partnership is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support students with SEND across key stages in our secondary setting. You will work with teachers to reinforce learning, support small groups and 1:1 sessions, and help students engage with their learning throughout the curriculum.

You will be a patient, adaptable team player who can build strong relationships with students and staff, and participate in ongoing training to meet the dynamic needs of the SEND department.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience working with young people, ideally within a secondary school setting.
• Be patient, adaptable, and able to build positive relationships with students and staff.
• Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with subject teachers to monitor student progress in individual subjects.
• Support individual students and small groups to reinforce learning.
• Act as a positive role model socially and academically.
• Foster positive relationships with staff and peers.
