Qualifications
- Experience working with young people, ideally in a secondary school setting.
- Previous teaching assistant or similar educational support experience.
- Commitment to supporting academic and personal development of young people.
- Patient, adaptable and able to build positive relationships with students and staff.
Responsibilities
- Support learning in classroom and in small group or one-to-one settings.
- Work collaboratively with teachers to monitor pupil progress across subjects.
- Act as a positive role model socially and academically.
- Help foster positive relationships with staff and peers.
- Attend appropriate internal and external training and maintain records.
