Job summary

Aspire People is recruiting a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Horncastle. The role runs term-time only, 8:30am-3:30pm, with a long-term pathway and the possibility to go permanent. Immediate start available after DBS and references checks.

You will support children aged 5-16 with autism and related conditions, showing patience, compassion and a commitment to helping pupils grow in confidence, communication and social skills in a collaborative team setting.

Qualifications

• Patient, compassionate and enthusiastic about supporting children with additional needs.
• Experience working with children or vulnerable individuals is desirable.
• Qualified Teaching Assistant or TA qualification is desirable.
• Understanding of autism and related conditions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support children aged 5-16 with autism and related conditions.
• Help pupils develop communication, confidence, independence and social skills.
