Aspire People are recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to work across specialist and mainstream education settings, supporting pupils with needs including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, communication difficulties and additional learning needs.

We have opportunities ranging from flexible day-to-day supply through to long-term roles, making this ideal whether you're an experienced Teaching Assistant or have transferable experience from care, support work or working with young people.

Competenze

• Experience supporting children, young people or adults with additional needs is desirable.
• Background in school, SEN, care, support work, residential or youth work welcomed.
• Calm, patient and resilient approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Confidence supporting behaviour and individual needs.
• Team Teach, Makaton, PECS, Autism or other relevant training is highly desirable.
• Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualifications desirable but not essential for all roles.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
