Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking SEND Teaching Assistants to support children with additional needs from September. No prior school experience is required and candidates with empathy, patience and strong communication are encouraged to apply. You will work across schools, assisting pupils inside and outside the classroom while building confidence and independence.

A proactive, compassionate approach is valued. Roles are flexible, with full-time opportunities and ongoing development through CPD.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and adapt to different learning needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with additional needs.
• Support learning and engagement inside and outside the classroom.
• Help pupils build confidence, independence and social skills.
• Encourage positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
• Adapt support to meet individual needs and learning styles.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families.
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff.
• Create a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment for all children to succeed.
