Job summary

The Supply Register Ltd. is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to support students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities at a local primary or secondary setting in Atherstone. You will contribute to inclusive learning by adapting activities and delivering targeted support.

In this role you will work closely with teachers, build confidence in pupils, and foster positive relationships with families to promote the best possible outcomes. DBS checks apply, and safeguarding is a priority.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting children or young people with additional needs.
• A patient, caring and resilient approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A relevant Teaching Assistant or Childcare qualification.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils.
• Work closely with teachers to adapt learning activities to meet individual needs.
• Encourage pupils to build confidence and independence within the classroom.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents to achieve the best possible outcomes.
