Job summary

The Supply Register, in partnership with Prospect House Specialist School, is seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to support students with complex learning needs. You will work closely with teachers to deliver reading, writing and classroom activities, provide one-to-one and small group support, and help pupils develop confidence and independence in a welcoming, inclusive environment.

Applicants should have experience with SEND and hold an enhanced DBS; willingness to obtain Update

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND.
• Experience supporting individuals with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, or other additional needs.
• A genuine passion for helping children learn, develop, and succeed.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a wider school team.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEND to access learning opportunities.
• Assist with reading, writing and classroom activities.
• Provide one-to-one and small group support.
• Help pupils develop confidence, independence and social skills.
• Work with teachers and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
• Support pupils' daily routines and activities.
