Job summary

The Supply Register Ltd. is recruiting a Primary SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with a range of additional needs in Castle Bromwich and surrounding areas within Prosper Together Multi‑Academy Trust.

Role involves working with teachers and SEND teams across primary and secondary settings on day-to-day, short-term and long-term assignments; DBS required; opportunities to develop CPD and inclusive practice.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children or young people, ideally supporting those with Special Educational Needs.
• Experience within a classroom, care, youth work, residential, or support setting is desirable.
• A patient, caring, and adaptable approach to supporting pupils with diverse learning needs.
• Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
• A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• High expectations of all pupils and a commitment to promoting inclusion and positive outcomes.
• The ability to work collaboratively with teachers, SENDCOs, and wider school staff.
