Job summary

TeacherActive are working with a welcoming mainstream school in Lichfield that is looking to appoint a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant for an immediate start. This role supports children with additional needs across Early Years to KS2 and offers term-time hours, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm.

You will provide individualised support to two children, assist learning, communication, independence and emotional development, and work closely with the class teacher and SEND team.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEND or additional needs.
• Confident working with pupils from Early Years through to KS2.
• Able to provide individualised support to two children.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualised support to two children across Early Years to KS2.
• Support learning, communication, independence and emotional development.
• Work closely with the class teacher and broader SEND team.
• Be patient, nurturing, and able to build positive relationships.
• Be available Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm and commit to a long-term term-time role.
