Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant in Lichfield for an immediate start. The role covers Early Years to KS2, supporting two pupils with additional needs. Hours are 8:30am-3:30pm, Monday to Friday, term-time only, full-time, long-term placement.

Salary is £95-£110 per day, paid PAYE with ongoing support from a dedicated consultant and access to CPD opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEND or additional needs.
• Be confident working with pupils from Early Years through to KS2.
• Provide individualised support to two children.
• Support learning, communication, independence and emotional development.
• Work closely with the class teacher and wider SEND team.
• Be patient, nurturing and able to build positive relationships.
• Be available Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm.
• Be committed to a long-term, term-time position.
